I've been feeding with 2 feeders this year and activity has really picked up in the last week or so.

Yall are probably seeing the first wave of the migrating hummingbirds. I've been feeding them for years here. They're great entertainment and they are wonderful mosquito catchers, too. The best place to locate your feeder is adjacent to an "edge" such as where woods meet an open area. They especially prefer areas with a creek or branch near, also. Hummingbirds are the only bird species that can't walk. Fascinating critters.
