Like most of us here, Dandy Don was my lifeline to LSU sports. I emailed him a question one time, and Mr. Long wrote me back that day and was very nice and helpful. I always enjoyed his updates.

I didn't read the site as much after he died, but I've been going back this football season and I have to say that Scott is doing a really good job. His Monday Morning Rewind has really good analysis (see 9/8). If you quit reading DandyDon, I encourage you to go back. He has features that his Dad didn't have.

Is this Scott's full-time job? Does anyone know? Or, is it a hobby? I know that they do the donation thing. Anyway, just wanted to give some credit where it is due and say that even though I miss the old man, he left his legacy in good hands with is son.

Wasn't great, understandably, after the transition. But you're right, it's turned back into a premium product.

I agree. Before the Rant, he was a must read to start your day. I still read him first thing in the morning.

Scott always had a web design company, it still operates and DandyDon is another project he does.

He's doing a fantastic job. Like many other Tiger fans, DandyDon is the one of the few sites I visit every day.

I guarantee his Dad would be very proud of how Scott is carrying on his legacy.

Thanks for the reminder. I used to read Dandy Don every day when Don used to write, but I kind of forgot about it. I just spent a while reading it tonight and will put it back on my daily rotation. Props to Scott for carrying on the tradition!
