We also have an actual special teams coach. Saban used to let a GA handle it so that he could use the limited coaching spots on positions.
ETA: The more I think about it. Miles is actually very Frank Beamerish. Special teams has won us more than a handful of games in the past 10 years.

The only scholarship kicker now is the backup kickoff specialist and third string place kicker, lucky to have amazing walk ons this time
