No. I am neither a 14 year old girl or a 40ish year old woman.

Ahhh, the sweatshop and bad working conditions talking point. You should do some research about how these companies offer some of the best and safest jobs available in these poor areas.
Tell me, DS, why these people work there, if it is such a "death sentence" as your moonbat website claims it is.

I don't really care either way. I don't plan on buying an iPhone again anyway.

DS starting a thread advocating for more government action, again. I thought TUba was the biggest government worshipper on this site, but I think it may be DS.
Comical, absolutely comical.

Youve had an iphone since the first one.
Tell me, how upset does this make your progressive sensibilities?

DS obviously thinks it is a bad thing that Americans are able to have such an extraordinary device to use, while also giving a chinese person a job to make his family financially secure.

Not so fast.

I would rather my iPhone be manufactured here in America and give a job to an American to keep him financially secure, but thanks to people like DS and their support for too much regulation this is no longer feasible

anybody who is upset about that better be sure that every single item in their home is US/UK/German/Spanish/French made because if you get butthurt about that, i have a sad tale for you about your nikes, tv, etc.
Congratulations. This is what higher minimum wage, regulation, and taxing businesses does.

posting links without a simple summation of the article? downvote for you.

Draconian Sanctions
What would happen if a company in China opened up jobs that paid, say $35,000 USD per year? An underground economy would be created where jobs were auctioned off for money, because that is not the value of work over there.
Grow up.

I could not care less where my products are made or under what conditions as long as the individuals enter into the job of their own free will and can leave of their own free will. This is the best opportunity to support their families these people have.
