The committee members should not be attempting to influence or publicly express their opinions on a game, IMO.

This, although I don't think he should be on it in the first place. I just don't see how a current AD is going to have a completely unbiased opinion

Just proves that having people on the committee with current ties (even some with former ties) will still be emotional and biased. Its human nature.
Which is exactly why I am still completely against having AD's on the selection committee.
