This begs the question.. What was the old (current) punishment for DUI? Wouldn't he still be on the hook for that? Pleading guilty now doesn't completely get him off the hook imo

First offense might be nothing serious or just a fine. His legal team obviously knows it's less than 2 games.

Technically if the stupid NFL was consistent at all, he would get a two game suspension because the punishment phase is in the new year even though the offense occurred in the previous year.

But he has been assured no suspension, so the punishment will be from the current policy with just a fine for first offense dui.

1st failed test-enter program
2nd- 2 game fine
3rd- 4gm fine
4th -4gm suspension
5th -10 gms
6th -1yr
