I tried one called Shake by Boulder Beer Company over the weekend that I really enjoyed and I'm looking to try out another.

That's probably my favorite chocolate porter.

I don't know what all you get in Savannah, but keep an eye out for Terrapin - Dos Cocoas, Terrapin - Liquid Bliss, Rogue - Chocolate Stout, Southern Tier - Choklat. I'm sure you'll be about to find some of those.

While not exactly the same as Shake, I like Fort Collins Chocolate Stout and Young's Double Chocolate Stout.

Young's and Samuel Smith both do good chocolate stouts.

Also look for Crooked Letter Mystery Romp, it's out of Mississippi, it's a chocolate coffee porter, so not exactly the same, but similar.

Some people are recommending stouts. Those are a little different than porters.

Rogue makes a Mocha Porter that is pretty good.

That's the best beer I've had from Boulder.

Rogue gets a lot of hate here, but their Chocolate Stout and Double Chocolate Stout are very good. Southern Tier makes a good one in Choklat. Terrapin Liquid Bliss is good, but I like their MooHoo Chocolate Stout even better.

In general, stouts have more bitter roastiness than porters. I've found that most of the chocolate stouts seem to mask that and they end up drinking more like porters. Your mileage may vary.
