Damn. I'm on the other side of this one. I'd like to see a poll of our fan base to see how many feel this way.

I know I am in the minority on this, so no need for a poll. I am definitely the one with the corn cob stuck up my arse but I just fricking hate that song. If only it had been "Calling Des Moines" or "Calling Lake Charles", we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I need some clarification. Is "bitch i am from louisiana" and " calling Baton Rouge" the same?

Not quite the same, no.

"Calling Baton Rouge" is a shitty country song.

"Bitch I'm from Louisiana" is a rap song that is so lyrically obscene that the only part that can be played is a continuous loop of them singing "I'm from Louisiana"

Enjoy, bitch. I'm from Louisiana! Song actually starts at about 1:30

I dont mind it...the players get pumped off of it before the kick off. Gets the crowd into it...

except the people in here bitching about it.

Just watched the video for "I'm from Louisiana". The prologue is actually pretty good. A narrative of Louisiana's pride and resiliency, focusing on how the people survived Katrina, and can survive anything that comes their way. Then the music starts, and it's facepalm city from there.

Y'all are better than that. SMH

You act like we made it.

And if you knew a lot about certain parts of the state...you wouldn't be surprised

When did they start playing calling Baton Rouge? I don't remember any piped in music in the late 90s when I was in school, but maybe I forgot. Maybe I'm old and out of touch, but I'd rather they stick with music from the band.

So Wisky's traditional 4th quarter routine takes precedence over LSU's? Pete could use a clue.

Yeah what an unintelligent response.

Calling Baton Rouge, is awesome

Bitch I'm from Louisiana, is awesome

Majority of fans sing in unison as CBR is played prior to kickoff -- plus it's Les' favorite part of game day.

BIFL gets the players and sidelines fired up, and it is only played on kickoffs.
