I really like seeing us spread the opposing defense out more. We appear to have three solid WRs in Diarse, Dural, and Quinn. It also takes that extra man out of the box. I'm really glad that we faced this challenge early in the season. It think it really prepares us for the upcoming season.

Yes. If our o-line isn't getting the job done we should see some 3 wides to open things up.

3 WR and run the ball. It works well.

That was actually the worst call of the night not going back to the 3 wr set, zone read run on that 3rd and 3 late where we ran option with fournette and it got blown up. Seemed like a no brainer decision since we had started gashing them in the 4th.

I thought we used it most of the first half with little effect. I thought we made our bones by bringing in two TE's in the second half... Any yardage available yet on productivity of each set???

We better, I lost my voice during last two possessions when we abandoned the only thing that got us back in the game. The two scrimmages I attended we were damn near exclusively in the one back set. Keep the full back on the bench.

I never thought I'd say this but our WR corp just might be more dangerous than our RB corp this year. I was impressed by 83, 9 and 8.

we should be in a 3 wide or 4 wide set for at least 90 percent of the offensive snaps. Neighbors and the tightends don't belong on the field. Now of course we will try to continue beating our heads against the wall with big power formations because that is what we do.

I had hoped they would go to that after looking at the amount of WRs we are recruiting. I mean, we get four WRs (tried for 5) last year in addition to the four we got the year prior. We've got two this year so far, and looking to nab another two. Four a power run team like LSU, why would they need 13 WRs over the span of 3 years?

This is the type of offense you see ran in the NFL. We need to be in three receiver sets a good amount during the game.
