Honestly I don't think you can get a good OT on your PS. Teams have to settle for scraps and hope they can mold them.
I figured he had the edge because we liked him enough to draft him so they see something there. I haven't seen it.

I meant that if he had a choice of where to sign on a practice squad, I think he would examine all his options. Just like when Chase Daniel passed on the Redskins to sign with the Saints on their practice squad.

Even if so, we would sign him to the PS to afford ourselves some protection until then.
And yeah that sucks for Davis. He looked pretty decent. I wonder if it's because of the number of LBs we have on the active roster or if it's because they are eying another LB.

I'm sure this has to be that there was some sort of unexpected development. For example, hypothetically, they got a signing from another team that they didn't expect.

Vargas now confirms Rooks. I'm putting him as "confirmed" until we hear otherwise.

Because Tuesday we can decide who we will use the IR designated to return tag on. It will be either Fortt or Lorig and we will probably IR the other. Leaving two spots open, one for a kicker and one for Warren.

Pierre Warren (among others) cleared waivers. So he's eligible for the PS.

If we were going to use regular IR on one of them we would have done it. We don't have to wait for that.
Fortt was on the side working with trainers last week. Lorig has yet to even be seen since the B&G scrimmage. Pretty clear that Lorig is going to get hit with the IR- Designated to Return. That will open the kicker spot and that's it.
