It wouldn't surprise me one bit if a Native American wasn't a part of making it. Maybe he's not an emoitional light weight and can understand the play on words for a good slogan in a meaningless game.

All Gameday signs are offensive to someone. That's the whole point.

Not usually to this degree.

The sign is in poor taste but I wonder how many of you are are truly offended or are just acting offended because that's what you feel society is telling you to do.

There's a line. Would you be ok with people putting Holocaust jokes on signs?

If I'm not "truly offended" can I still think it was a bad sign to make?

What level of offensiveness do I need to reach before I can have an opinion on the sign with out being accused of being a sheeple?

It is in poor taste.

I'm not especially offended, but I fail to see how anyone can really find it humorous.

Don't know of too many teams named after Jews. If there were, I'm sure someone would have a sign about it.

And what type of response would this hypothetical sign get?

And those people would be massive pieces of shite and deserve to have their asses kicked. There are some things you just don't joke about.

I chuckled at it

I also can chuckle at a number of other offensive jokes and stereotypes because I realize they're just words and I have other more important shite that directly impacts me to worry about.

You know who is never funny and never fun to be around?

People who say "i know how to have fun" or "i'm usually not offended"

those people are never fun. Every single joke will offend anyone. People like the crab sign, but I bet people with crabs don't find it funny.
If you don't find it funny then just move on, but we can't do that, we have to remove stuff we don't like. Nation full of babies. If it was a holocaust joke i'm sure the students would get in trouble (they may for this) and that is ridiculous. Kids do stupid things and college is part of figuring it out.

Not saying I agree with sign just stating a fact. Everyone's level of insensitivity is different and people have differences in humor. Not that big a deal.

I'm sure people up in arms about this have laughed at a michael jackson little boy joke, some type of jew/black joke, etc.

but for some reason people think they are the line of what is acceptable and if it crosses their line then it must go

Eh. I disagree. I laugh at things people would get offended over but i think making fun of an event that killed millions upon millions of people shouldn't be a thing.

Comparing this to Holocaust jokes is really a fail on your part.

Agreed. Like I said earlier, a lot of times people acting offended about this sort of thing do it publicly because that's what they think they should do or society forces them to do, but in private there is no doubt they are all hypocrites to some degree.
