I lost my dad when I was nine... He was 42... I'm thankful for the time I remember with him.
Condolences...

I am sorry for your loss. I feel like I lost my Dad twice -- once on December 20, 1997 when he suffered a severe stroke and once on August 26, 2003, when he finally passed away.
All I can tell you is to remember the good times and that the loss will ease with time. But I still miss talking with my Dad to this day.
God Bless.

Sorry for your loss...it sucks for a while, but it does get easier over time (my dad died 13 years ago). There are still things I see and wish I could share with him, but now I usually just think, "Daddy would've liked that" with a slight smile instead of great sadness that he missed it.

He donated his body to LSU for science
That shows he was a pretty amazing guy. Sorry for your loss.
