How big is the LSU student section?
At UW this year, the full allotment of 14,000 student tickets sold out in under an hour. But, the program constantly has issues with students not arriving on time. Often times the student section isn't full until mid second quarter. It's usually for the 11:10 kickoffs, but sometimes for the 2:30 games as well.

The price increases have taken a hell of a toll on the middle class fans.

Because those middle class family cannot afford the increase in parking. I never saw anything on here about the stadium being empty until they started charging crazy prices for parking. Trashy fans trash campus rabble rabble rabble

so park for free and walk?
if you want to go to a game, it's not hard to find cheap tickets and a free place to park.
if you want to really go, you'll go.

I don't disagree, just what I noticed when less asses were in seats.

a lot of people don't want to deal with the hysteria of gameday. a couch and a flatscreen with some beer is more appealing.

ULL has a better student attendance than LSU?

Now with every game on TV, it's not necessary.
Bingo. Even Sam Houston St is on television.

Who would you put on the schedule? Give me some teams.
UCLA, USC, Oregon, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Texas, Nebraska, Notre Dame and any other team that thinks they have the talent we do.

And let them yell STTDB as much as they want
Tiger Stadium is better off without any student that has to yell this to have a good time at a football game.

I'm sure all of those schools are beating down the door to come to Baton Rouge. Not to mention that would put us having Wisconsin and one of those teams the 1st 2 weeks of the season. Thank God none of you idiots are in charge of scheduling.

Don't you know that marquee programs are beating down the doors to travel down to BR and play a night game in Death Valley
Well if we quit playing every OCC team with a pulse at a neutral site that might help.

BYOB alone should fill the stadium...even for Sam Houston State.

And you would probably be at the front of the line bitching about 4 and 5 loss seasons instead of the 2-3 loss seasons due to the much more difficult schedule than anyone else would be playing. LSU is already at the tops in SOS every year. So you want to add a few more marquee matchups just because entitled fricks couldn't be bothered going to a low ranked game.

Schedulng so many rent a wins for home games is a big detractor…also the amount of student seats is too much in this day and age. Parking is abysmal at LSU…even still, they will do better to sell more student seats to the GP, sell beer at the games and schedule Division 1 teams for the non-conference games.

higher prices....terrible cell reception...no beer...day/neutral site games....the heat....corporate takeover.......whole laundry of why ppl are staying away!!!!
