The SEZ expansion is/WAS about suites/club seats and it WAS 98% pre-sold....that's a FACT...stop deflecting you dumbass ! Since when is "stating facts" being hypocritical ? What a stupid thing to say !
Everyone knows the CBS 2:30 game is a given virtually every year...what IS different is the conference commissioner coming out and stating that the SEC will do everything it can, to get the majority of LSU home games at nite...this "support" has NEVER come from the SEC office...WHY is that sooooooo difficult for you to admit ??
You win the gold star for being the most closed minded Rant poster...congratulations jackass !

Because I don't trust the SEC office any further than I could throw them. When the SEC visiting opponents are good, if CBS is interested, there will be day games at Tiger Stadium. And to me, if there are more than two day games at Tiger Stadium in a given year, then the SEC isn't keeping that promise. Which is fine, but then don't let other schools keep their traditions (like Alabama-Tennessee, Auburn-Georgia, MSU cowbells, etc.) with no interruptions.

I agree with you completely....IF, we still get 2 CBS 2:30 games along with another day game !... But,I think we will see far more nite games, in the future.
Let's see just how it plays out

The revenue from that ought to be put towards ticket pricing and parking imo.

Nope, it's going to go to putting more ex athletes on the Athletic Department payroll who can't get jobs elsewhere.

It is hypocritical because you were an a-hole to him about it.

The 2:30 SEC games are our day games.

In the last 10 years, we've played 3 non-CBS day games at home. 1 since the 2007 season.

Do you have a quote from Slive actually stating this? I know Aleva stated that he did. It is cute, but it doesn't mean anything unless it is in writing.

So you'll agree with him if it isn't the same as 7 of the last 8 seasons. I think ESPN will put us at night. It is CBS that has always been the issue.

You just love to put words into my mouth don't you !
Never said CBS 2:30 game was a non factor....it WILL be virtually every year as long as LSU stays on top...what WOULD be unacceptable{given the recent statements by Slive..you'll just have to trust me on this}....would be TWO day/CBS games and/or another day game ! Understand now ?
Responding to someone, who spouts an unsubstantiated comment....with a FACT,is NOT being hypocritical, it's simply correcting HIS error...kind of like you have made a career out of on here...LMAO @ u Let it go here...you are dead wrong..the SEC office has NEVER publicly supported an LSU position. FACT...what happens in the future, only time will tell....NOT YOU !

Alleva might be good at some things, but a logistician he is NOT...

you want butts in seats, you have to make it possible to get to Tiger Stadium without a struggle...

the powers that be need to realize that Tiger Stadium has over 30,000 more seats AND:

1-crappy mass transit options, you used to have a great bus connection from the old Greyhound station to North Stadium parking; a train from NOLA; and a helluva lot more parking close to the stadium

2-parking-keep the gameday paid parking open until an hour before kickoff

3-give up some control in order to get a decent contraflow...

You must not understand how scheduling works.

Sure I do - and also understand that it's broken.

Sam Houston State, Liberty, Presbyterian, Samford, Western Carolina, Eastern KY, UT Martin - stupid and useless. D1 vs. D1 only.

I note that a lot of ranters are dumping on the students for leaving early, but from my seats on the East Side, I see a TON of fat cats on the opposing 40-50-40 yrd lines bailing out at half if not sooner, too. It's now a cocktail party to that crowd for the most part. Watch the upper decks this yr & see how fast they empty, if they are even full at kickoff. I am predicting the smallest actual paid attendance in decades this yr. Mabe that will wake up JA.

After nearly every single game for the past few years there has been huge complaining regarding post game traffic. People say traffic is the reason most haven't been coming to the games and why people leave early.

LSU responded by totally overhauling the post game traffic routes. Yet you people still bitch. When 150,000 people are in such a small area, it is impossible for everyone to get every single luxury they want. The game day atmosphere is no where near as bad as you guys make it sound and to can find plenty of parking if you arrive at a decent hour. If you wanna come late, pay to park. If you can't do that, it's your own damn fault. Stay home, watch it on your tv, and shut up.

Interesting to note that he was only going to be admitted as a member of that club (don't remember which one) as long as he agreed not to go to the swimming pool.
