I don't think we necessarily would have gotten any further because that is an impossible hypothetical, but I feel confident saying we would have played better with Donovan on the pitch, especially after Jozy went down.

Derailing this topic but so did JJ in the Arky game, the SEC champ game (no first downs in the first half I believe?), and, oh, in that very game as well. It wasn't just one bad performance (which JL literally only had one of that season, one half against Bama at Bama). At least TRY something.

Drew Brees could have been the QB that day and LSU still would've lost. They were just flat and came up against a team playing with house money.
