And honor the incumbent Jennings, even though his game experience is minimal?

I think it is about 80% chance he does, and has play selection that takes as much pressure as possible off of him to win it in the trenches against Wisc.

I, like many, would prefer Harris to get the nod, but I am preparing myself for Jennings to start, and for Harris to get some handoff snaps.

What are you guys thinking/expecting? (yeah, i know none of our thoughts truly matter, but if that is your standard, then 95+% of the posts on the rant do not matter).

If they are even in the QB competition Jennings will probably get the nod. If BH is appreciably better then he will start the game. Les Miles will do what is best for LSU to win.

I'm going to try to be nice to you:

1) Jennings will start because Jennings has taken a snap in a live game before. Ball security is paramount and a 1st game jitters, "Neutral" field is not the best place to be for a kid that was in HS last season.

2) Harris will get some snaps...likely when the ball is on the Wisc side of midfield and just be designed hand-off or QB runs until he has taken a few snaps in the game

3) Jennings is GOOD. I think Harris will overtake him. But, Jennings is NOT "settling for scraps"

4) I will cheer like hell for whoever is in the game at any time

This is why Jennings will start. I look to see BH featured more against Sam Houston St. the following week.

You mean like he's doing with Porter and Robinson?

Who are the other true freshman quarterbacks to tear up the SEC?

so if Jennings starts you have made up your mind that the reason he starts is only a Miles thing and couldn't possibly be that he actually earned the job.

you are accusing Miles of a whim when indeed it is you that has made up your mind WITHOUT A SINGLE THREAD of evidence.

imo, Miles will start the guy he thinks gives LSU the best chance to win the game. go figure.

It's so sad many ppl think Harris is better based on almost nothing. I really hate LSU fans sometimes

Miles doesn't really owe anything to AJ, as he's not that much of an incumbent. I'll be happy with which ever earns it.

Because you are a football coach with many years of experience in the highest levels of college football who has won numerous conference titles and one national title?

Sounds fair to me.

this horseshite has been debunked so many damn times it is laughable. I swear, we make Alabama fans look like rocket scientists.

Jennings is 1-0 as a starter against a team that had a month to prepare for a first-time starting, true freshman. He also had the composure to bring us back against Arkansas with a 99-yard drive.

I'm not saying he is a world beater, or that he is even better than BH. But at this point I would be just fine with him starting against Wisc.

Yes, because Miles knows what he's doing and is a good coach.

Your hate for Miles is strong. Give in to it go to the dark side. Wear the crimson colors then you will be complete.
