The doctor stopped struggling with the robot and sat away from the robot. They may have meant to make it ambiguous but I didn't think it was.

Did I miss where they said this? I thought it was left as ambiguous.

There's also this. Sure, we assume the Doctor wasn't capable of pushing him, but we don't KNOW that. The 6th Doctor attempted to kill his companion when he first regenerated, who knows what 12 is capable of?

So you admit you weren't actually looking for discussion but just trolling for combative responses?

Not in the least. I don't think the post is combative in the least. You are simply unable to take valid criticism which you continue to prove.

Wrong.

I already admitted that it's your entitled opinion about the breathing and then gave why I disagreed. Without insults.

I did the same with the sword fighting.

Your initial posting is combative whether that was your intention or not. Your very first line is an attack on the writing. That immediately puts your reader on guard and reading the rest of your post in a cynical, insulting tone.

And then your first "criticism" is of the dinosaur size, which most would consider trivial to the overall story arc and plot. So right there you further alienate your readers.

After that they're just not going to want to hear anything you say no matter how much sense it makes.

We don't know really, especially during the period just after regeneration. We've seen it before. No second chances and all that.

See you for episode 2.

Thanks for the spirited debate.

The size of a fricking dinosaur? Really?

Hate to say it but the same thought hit me right away that T-Rex was wayyyyy to fricking big. As for the episode I thought it was sub-par but not because of the dinosaur found the villain and plot blah. New Doctor still to be decided. Clara is ALWAYS fricking hot.

We can all agree that Clara is smoking hot.

I do have a thing for red heads so I thought Amy was the hottest companion to date but Clara may take that crown.

Amy and Clara are pretty even in terms of hotness. It's a tough one.

They're both hot in their own distinct way.

also, I was making a bit of a point in this thread. A bit of an experiment and it worked perfectly.

That's just bullshite. Not a single person has agreed with your points, so you crawfish like a bitch.

Either that or you admit to purposeful trolling and should be banned. No one has time for your "experiments" and no one gives a frick.

Hey. Learn to read. Someone has agreed.

Almost everyone agreed the new theme sucks.

God. You continue to prove my point that you think pointing out some minor flaws is trolling and ban worthy. Thanks for being such a prick!

I stick with every single point I made. Don't see how that is crawfishing. Try again.

I said almost.

I think my favorite was the updated Tom Baker theme.

I thought the episode started out really awkwardly. Granted the time traveling trex was pretty funny. For those bitching about the dinosaur not rampaging through London, remember the lizard lady gave them those devices to set up a containment field around it. The episode hit it's stride with the advertisement in the newspaper.

I like the new Doctor. There were flashes of the Doctor realizing this is the end, I would imagine it would be hard to play a character who has lived for centuries, had numerous personalities and now is at the end of his life. He still had the confidence, and everything else too.

Clara is smoking hot, and I hope she stays around for a while. She actually seems to not be ditzy also.

Capaldi will be good. Acting won't be a problem.

Only problem is I keep expecting him to break out with an awesome string of curses In The Loop style.

I was watching again and just noticed they talked about the trex being too big in the episode.
Jenny: big fella, isn't he?
Vastra: dinosaurs were mostly this size, and it's a she.
Jenny: no they weren't, I've seen fossils.
Vastra: I was there.
