Even though Jennings is the likely starter against Wisconsin, Harris will get a lot of time. Then we have Sam Houston and ULM to get things sorted out. If Harris plays up to his potential, I can see him starting the Mississippi State game.

Harris? He certainly doesn't look like a 4.8/4.9 guy. For comparison, Jarrett Lee ran a 4.9 at the LSU pro day. Harris is faster than Lee.

I think the coaches will give jennings every chance to be the starter.
i just don't think they will be able to keep harris off the field. especially if jennings makes some early miscues.

I can already see how things are going to unfold:
Plan A: Jennings will start at qb and the offense will move conservatively relying on breakout plays from the running / short passing game.
If that doesn't work...
Plan B: Bring in Harris, let the gunslinging begin.
