On the surface, yes, it appears to be non-interventionist.
On the surface??
We have 300 "advisors" there and are bombing. Further we imperialistically fired our hand picked Iraqi premier and had him replaced.

Anyway, the Kurds want our help and propping them up will help the fight against ISIS. And a base there would help. The SOF should be discussed again.
Like I said more world police...it has worked out so well in the past.

It has worked out well in the past.
And you think he really wanted to send the 300 or bomb?

3 states, Kurds in the North in the ISIS territory. The Sunni in the Center and West. Shia in the South. We get out in general, except a helicopter base in Kurdistan and an American oil company operation like Chevron again.

Put a base in Kurdistan. They want it and it'll help keep crap like this from flaring up.
This may be coming. Our Nato allies Turkey no longer oppose a separate state as a oil pipeline to the Turkish port Ceyhan is in the planning stages and would be a huge multi billion dollar boom to Turkey.
Three state solution may be only way out of this mess.

No reason not to help the Kurds

Help the Kurds establish a new sovereign Kurdish nation-state.
Only if they call it St George.

I'd say it has worked out well considering we haven't had to fight another world war

C) Turkey, once so opposed to the idea that the US couldn't support an independent Kurdistan, now kinda wants it. This is mainly due to the potential oil exports Kurdistan can have. Now, with the majors (XOM and Chevron for example) having left, it does question the full output the Kurdistan could have in the coming years. It would be better for Turkey in the long run to have the Kurds be independent (not their Kurds obliviously) for the exports
I agree, and I think that secular Turkey would also like to have the Kurds as a geographical buffer against militant Islamists like ISIS.

If Turkey is now willing to tolerate an independent Kurdish state, then, the Three State Solution has even more merit.
It is a last resort solution, but, events seem to be forcing that decision.
