I got a blue engram and a purple egngram. The purple engram gave me a blue. The blue engram gave me a nice legendary breastplate.....that I already bought from the crucible

Does increasing the level increase the enemy spawns as well or just the level of the enemies?

They have different modifiers like the skulls in Halo. I know for this strike heroic means you can only be revived by one of your teammates and there was another modifier that makes the enemies angry and charge you.
That 2nd one makes these knights with way too much health an absolute pain in the arse.
Not sure about # of enemies.

I've seen and experienced the modifier which increases the number of enemies and makes them more aggressive. It was combined with another modifier that basically made their melee attack a one-hit kill, which made for a great time
