I disagree very strongly with this.

yeah, I think Strief is a pretty good blocker. Always thought he was a little underrated in run blocking? Maybe, maybe not.

the one game where I think he had the most trouble was against Ahmad Brooks from the 49ers. I had watched Brooks play the week before against the Panthers and he was killing them too. I guess Brooks was just on a roll at the time. But that guy usually seems like he's a thorn in our side.

You think ATL's Oline sucks

I said shaky. Shaky =/= suck. Do you really feel that confident in your O-line?

we don't have any playmakers

Outside of Julio, not really. You have some names (Roddy, Jackson), but I don't believe these guys are much more than names at this point in their career.

subpar LB group?

Definitely. Why would I think otherwise? Because you had some mid-late round/undrafted rookies who got playing time last year?

I'm guessing you agree that you have no real pass rushing threat since you left that out. No pressure on Brees= a long day for you defense.

I can't wait for week 1.

I have no idea why. What weakness on the Saints do you think the Falcons can possibly exploit?

I also don't get why you continue to come on a Saints message board and act surprised/upset when we say negative things towards the Falcons.

You still didn't answer the question that you responded to. You acknowledged that the Falcons may suck this year, but it wouldn't be for the reasons he listed. It's pretty hard to deny that your RB group is average at best (being generous there), pass rush is a HUGE question mark, your OL has one above average player as of right now, and losing Tony Gonzalez takes a hit to your play makers. I don't see how any of that is really debatable.

LT has played decent, and not so decent, and has battled injuries throughout his career.

Blalock is solid.

Hawley sucks.

Asamoah was a nice addition.

Matthews is a rookie, and while I think he'll be a fine pro, he's going to take his lumps. Very few tackles start off just being able to play average. Joe Thomas started out playing slightly below average, and he's currently the best in the league.

We know last year how two weak spots in your o-line can throw the whole thing out of whack.

I think Douglas over takes White before the season is done. I have no clue why they gave White an extension.

I like the Freeman kid out of Florida St.

They really don't have a weapon at tightend, and I don't think they have the line to have an effective running game.

I don't know why he would even attempt to argue that.

He's saying that crap right now, while still maintaining that they'll probably suck. It's typical DD double speak.

Much more than last year, yes. It was obvious in the 1st preseason game that they were much better than last year. I was actually very concerned that Matt Ryan was going to get injured last year.

Guess we won't know until the season plays out but I disagree. Julio is a playmaker, yes. But I also believe that Devonta Freeman, Harry Douglas, Roddy returning to normal and Toilolo's height in the red zone will make him a nice target.

Pass rush is my biggest concern on this team. Yup. Should be for every falcons fan. But we're shifting scheme's some and have added a lot of bigger dudes up front. Can potentially free up LBs (guys like Beirmann, etc) to potentially break out in the blitz game. Our LB group will be different and doing different things based on the scheme that is much different this year than last.

Why wouldn't I? Everyone on here, local media and national media is crapping on my team and hyping yours. We absolutely sucked last year, and both games came down to the final play/minute. You feel like your team has improved and I feel like mine has. I can't wait to see which of us is correct.

As for coming on here. It's a rivals board, I enjoy the banter. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer, type deal.
