This is what you do: you make a fricking fat cleric. Kill the asylum demon, and level up 2 pts in DEX, and all the rest in STR. Go down to where all the skeleton assholes spawn, run around and pick up all of that shite. There is a Zweihander waiting there for you. Equip that motherfricker once you have enough STR to wield it with both hands. Then just start spamming the R2 button one-shotting everyfrickingthing. If it doesnt one-shot it it will at least stagger it. Now all you gotta do is level up STR to 24 (STOP AT 24) so you can one-hand the Zweihander, and then start dumping everything into VIT, END, and FAITH. Eventually you'll want to grab the divine ember, make your Zweihander divine (and later on, Occult for MAX FAITH scaling), and just keep pumping FAITH up to 30-40. Everything in the game will bow to you. Except 4 Kings. frick 4 Kings.

My first playthrough wasn't so bad until Gwyn. I was stuck for hours man. The only time I ever wanted to toss my controller into the TV on DS1
Also my character was all Endurance, Dex, and intelligence. For me, it was the best build. PVP was so simple.

Str builds are fun for pve but dex for pvp is always a no-brainer. Uchihatana is OP as shite in DS1, and I've gotten many a hate letters over molesting butt with the Chaos Blade in DS2.

Gargoyles were easy peasy with the sun guy helping. Butterfly boss was too with the help there. Got the ember thing at the top and gave it to the blacksmith but now trying to find somewhere to go

The second bell is at the bottom of Blighttown; if you didn't get the master key you'll have to go through the depths, kill the boss and traverse one of the most dreaded areas in all of the Souls games.

He kicked my arse a couple times but the time I beat him I ran up the stairs and waited for the dogs to come and killed them first. Demon was pretty easy after that. I upgraded the claymore as far as I could so it's still my best weapon

What's the most dreaded area mentioned? About to go in blighttown. The spot with the bugeyed things was pretty shitty.

Blighttown really fricking sucks. You can bypass most of it though if you take shortcut from Valley of Drakes.
