I second the hummus and the frozen Indian food suggestions.

They have an assortment of different spice grinder bottles for pretty good prices.

Trail mix...several varieties heavy on cashews and/or almonds and with less peanuts.

All Salsa's are good and cheap.

I love the Penne Pepperonata in the fozen section...add Italian Sausage and you got a great meal.

My husband is obsessed with some kind of spicy cashews they have. Don't know what they're called exactly. I call them his spicy nuts.

I'm glad you brought that up. A lot of the items at Trader Joe's sell for a third to a half less than supermarkets. BTW, Whole Foods is also cheaper than most supermarkets if you don't get carried away with the boutique stuff. Frozen foods, fresh-baked bread, olive oil, and orange juice are just a few of the things I stock up on at WF.

No it isn't.

You go to whole foods to get the stuff you can't find at other places. If you can get the item at a regular supermarket, odds are is that its going to be cheaper there.

Love their store, cannot stand their produce. Good luck with fruit from there.

Yeah, I can't believe there are posts calling it fresh. A lot of it is packaged up, and everything I've gotten from there has gone bad if not used by the next day.

That said, I like the Hot and Sweet Mustard when I do at-home charcuterie.
They have a decent cheese selection for not a lot of $$$, which is nice.

I live down the street and still don't go. The crowds are unreal. Store just isn't laid out to handle the amount of people that go in.

My best experience there was during the ice storm because the interstate and main roads were closed. I was the only person in there.

Kung Pao Chicken from the frozen section. Dy-no-mite!

I'm a sucker for the Cowboy Caviar too. It's salsa, black beans, and corn.

Must be busy at work because he hasn't chimed in yet.

I've only had 1 experience. Walked in and walked right out. Only because it was way too crowded for me to even think about taking my time and looking at everything.
I'll go back eventually
