Without reading all of your post - the first problem is you are driving a pacifica. Start there and work your way back to see how you got in this position.

Electrical problems are a PITA to diagnose. But the first thing I would do is check to make sure all your grounds look good. I once had a problem similar to yous with a Chrysler minivan and it turns out one of the ground straps was corroded (green). took it apart and brushed it, put it back together and it worked fine.

i'm only 24, got this car about 5 years ago for the winters in syracuse and it held up pretty well. Now I'm down here and it can't handle the heat apparently
