Of course if you have 2 guys the same speed, the guy carrying a football is gonna run a tad slower than someone who isn't, so I could see someone with an angle like Peterson or with 70-80 yards to try and catch him maybe get him. Still doubt it though

Trindon Holliday, only if he was playing right defensive end.

I've seen Malcolm Jenkins turn on the jets a couple times and good god

Probably a handful of corners.

Ugh.
When they mentioned Jenkins, I googled the highlights for their preseason game, and true to form, one play he stumbles on his way to what could have been a PBU, or he tackles right after someone catches it, or he's 7 days late and TD's ensue. :|

Defenders who can run 4.32 or faster.

The only active one I know is Jonathan Joseph. Peterson ran like a 4.34 or 4.35 at the combine.

Tie a few pounds of sirloin to his back and run him in front of Hicks.

quote:These 2 posts make me think a bit. I don't think Jenkins is that fast in the 40, but the couple times he's chased guys down, he seems like he maintained/increased speed the entire run. Lots of "fast" guys give you 30 yd bursts, then taper off.

You're gonna need someone who's more of a 200 meter sprinter, one who can keep accelerating and running flat-out after the first 50-60 yds; Jenkins might be one of those guys. Can't remember if Peterson had that or not, I think he did.
