Payton in press conference just said they didn't play Humber much (@ Rams) because they know how good he is.
Hoodoo thinks it's likely he'll take Hawthorne's spot.
Also, Jenkins officially off PUP.

Nice to see Big John back. Dude is going to do good things. Came along way faster than I thought last year and(along with help from Bunk's injury) played way more snaps than I thought he could.
On the other injuries, I think they are being extra cautious with the "expensive" guys and want to see what the backups can do at QB and safety.

I do not want to see Byrd tweak his back at all by rushing back before he's ready, same as with Brees. Those are nagging things that, while you can play through it, will negatively affect them all year.
