What did we get for CP3? Baron Davis?
yes. its a great deal to get two no.1 overall picks on rookie contracts along with another 1st round pick in return for an expiring contract, a player who would have left for nothing.
Now you can have your team's "future" learn how to play in this league while carrying you into the lottery where you will have the flexibility to revamp your team around him.

Well, he plays like Davis, is injured like Davis, and has an attitude like Davis, but his name is Eric Gordon.

Looks like the Sixers are getting Bennett and the Wolves are getting Thad Young.
Flip gonna Flip. 1 year of Young before he bolts Minnesota. But, hey, maybe the Wolves can win 33 games this year instead of 29.

He's been hyped as "Next" since his freshman year of high school
The hype died down considerably after he played his season at Kansas. The only one of those magazine covers that is from after his season at Kansas also includes two other players who were in the conversation to be drafted before him.
Yes he was super hyped before the season, but the consensus was basically that he didn't live up the the hype (yet). He wasn't a Carmelo level college player.

It was almost impossible to live up to the hype. He was "the second coming of LeBron Raymone James"...that's a tall order to fill.
