What type of Freshman season does LF have to have for you to consider him to have lived up to the hype? I would say he needs to have a Kevin Faulk like Freshmen season to match the hype. What says the rant?

By comparison does he need a Dalton Hilliard, Kevin Faulk or Justin Vincent type of Freshmen season to meet expectations?

1982 Dalton Hilliard
Rushing - 901 Yds, 11 TD
Receiving - 368 Yds, 5 TD
Scrimmage - 1269, 16 TD

1995 Kevin Faulk
Rushing - 852 Yds, 6 TD
Receiving - 86 Yds, 1 TD
Scrimmage - 938, 7 TD

2003 Justin Vincent
Rushing - 1001 Yds, 10 TD
Receiving - 80 Yds, 0 TD
Scrimmage - 1081, 10 TD

Significantly less than that given we do it "by committee". Not sure if they did that during those years.

Vincent was a redshirt, so no comparison. Faulk was on a bad to midrange Tiger team. Hilliard came out of nowhere on a mid level expectation team. They over-achieved because of guys like him.

Fournette is on a top 15 team, and is as highly recruited as they come. He should be the featured back, no questions asked
