In New York this Summer at Manducati's Rustica in Long Island City, I was guided toward burrata.. I asked at Roberto's in the Bronx and they serve Capresi but the arugula is more popular right now.. I found it interesting when I read the article that they also mentioned being a little tired of Capresi.. Kind of like tiramisu.. Ready for a diversion.. Maybe just a Summer 2014 thing..

I think he was alluding to the seasonal issue with caprese and tomatoes. I got that impression.

I've never loved tiramisu. Don't know why, but it's just not something I order or would ever make. I think it's good, but not my favorite.

Funny.. I feel about caprese the way you feel about tiramisu.. It's what makes the work beautiful..
