I've got a pair of rocky snake boots. I'm too scared of snakes to walk around early season in low boots.

I have two pair of Cablas scent-lok silent stalkers and they're awesome! Best lightweight early season boots I've ever owned. I've used them year round and didn't get cold in AL.

For rubber boots I have the muckboot scrubs. Low cut slip ons that I really like as well.

I have made a first split hunt barefooted. Generally old runnin shoes or those toe things. Getting dressed in camo head to toe when it's 90 degrees is way the frick over rated.
