some highlights:

quote:

Can the defense create turnovers?
LSU had 11 interceptions in 13 games in 2013, down seven from the 18 in 2012.
LSU recovered eight fumbles in 2013, down seven from the 15 in 2012.
19 turnovers created by the defense, down from 33 in 2012.

quote:

The same coach who told me that the defense would dominate the offense early in camp also told me that the word he has gotten back from some defensive players is that Leonard Fournette is the hardest player to cover on the 2014 team.

quote:

Trey Quinn is ready to go. Seriously, I do not know if people understand how good he is.
Malachi Dupre is incredibly explosive.

quote:

Travin Dural is the clear #1 receiver on this team.
That is not up for debate at the moment.
But the battle for #2 is wide open.

quote:

Seriously, having spent time with Miles in the last few weeks, he knows something.
He has been relaxed and confident.
What does he know that the rest of us do not?
He has youth at some very important positions, but that does not seem to phase him.
And he seems as comfortable as he ever has with a team entering a season as the head man at LSU.

I think people are finally starting to see that his speed and route running is the real deal. All while being a coach on the field, deceptive, lunch-pail guy, etc

That whole article got me excited. If LF7 is the hardest guy on the team to cover. He's gotta be dang good. Cam will use him well out the backfield in mismatches against linebackers. Helps out the quarterbacks a lot. Quinn I expected to be good and malachi is obviously expected to be good by everyone (recruiting rankings). This team had potential. That's exciting.

At first, I was more laid back about the freshmen's production, just to try see how'd our season go in a realistic way. In other words not looking for some of them to make ALL-SEC status or heisman hopes like some of the people here. But as the off season is progressing, hearing more and more good about them. Really looking forward to see how they the team succeed this year and the rest of their careers. Got a feeling the future is bright. Very bright.

Believable, since the WR's were probably being covered by RR/TW and the RB's by a linebacker who was "always in the right place"
