She said you were telling her something about her trigger? I handled it a bunch when she got here and didn't notice anything odd about it. Anything specific you were referring to?

It was an excellent class. If there's a person more knowledgable about guns in general and concealed carry in Louisiana in particular, I'd like to meet him. You can tell that Dawg has committed a lot of time and resources learning everything he can about this subject and more importantly, this is a passion of his. If you can find SME's like this, learn from them!
I'm rethinking my .45 for CC due to its size, but I'm not going back to that .380.
The class gives you a lot of food for thought. ( and good coffee and snacks, too )

Dawg, why all the hate on the Nano? Mine runs just fine.
The only time I see people having problems with them at the range, is when they limp wrist or run cheap 115 ammo.
I've seen the same limp wristing problems with Shields, XDS, PPS, and the Glock 42. Limp wrist any of those single stack 9mm pistols, and they will fail to extract every time.

Perhaps you can explain (a) what you mean by "all the hate" and (b) what I have posted that qualifies as such.

I sent her an email with a link to the S&W recall site.
I think her trigger is fine. But in the weak lighting at the range, I couldn't tell if her gun has the defective trigger safety.

i presume she (or you) is joking -- or maybe she saw they guy who was shooting from the adjoining lane.
All the TD-related folks did well.

Both weapons made it through the 36 round endurance test (both times).

Have had one guy bring a Hi-Pernt had another guy bring a Nano.
Maybe I just read it incorrectly. Sounded like you didn't expect the Nano to make it through the class.

Oh yeah I remember that. Hers is only 8 months old. I made sure to check the trigger safety when I got it and all is well

The thing I'm not too thrilled with is the internal slide lock. Not being able to actuate it manually really makes malfunction clearing difficult.
But overall it seems like a decent carry gun, minus that one thing.

Just abut any gun can make it through a 36 round course of fire -- even a Nano.
