Would you vote for a Paul/Booker ticket running as independants?

At the founding, the runner up in electoral votes became the Vice President. While I don't think that would be a very good idea today (and is no longer Constitutionally valid with Ammendment 12), I could vote for a split party ticket like Rand Paul and Cory Booker. While I am certainly no fan of Booker's, watching them work together gives me the impression that they could get a ton of common sense re-constitution of our system done working together because it would give both sides in Congress some air cover to vote issues instead of party.
Thoughts?

Booker / Paul would have a better chance.

No unity tickets.
If Paul and Booker want to work together, they can both stay in the Senate or one of them can become President and the other one be a Senate leader.
Politics in this country are divided enough that I wouldn't put it past a nutbar on one side to recreate Charles Guiteau's shooting of President Garfield.
Guiteau said upon his arrest "I am a Stalwart of the Stalwarts. .. Arthur is president now!", referring to Chester A. Arthur, Garfield's VP, who was on the ticket as a concession to Sen. Roscoe Conkling's Stalwart faction.
Arthur, to his credit, ended up being a very solid president and not a tool for the Stalwarts as expected.

I'd sooner vote for Booker the building superintendent from Good Times than Cory Booker. Why the Ds keep trotting out these spectacularly unqualified people as potential candidates is beyond me. How about someone who has actually been successful in an executive leadership position? This guy was mayor of what is basically a third world city. What's his record of accomplishment again?

Booker is terrible...he's all show and no substance.
ETA: Though I appreciate his recent work with Paul.

I definitely would. I probably wouldn't vote for booker / paul, but I am definitely becoming a big fan of rand.

Running as IND is a good way to lose. I don't know enough about Corey Booker but I like Rand Paul well enough to vote for him.
Unfortunately, Rick Perry is going to be the nominee
