And like I always tell people that I help plan for WDW....what is good for the goose may not be good for the gander.
The reason we need to stop here is to eat dinner.
We normally eat dinner between 6-7 every night. By leaving at 4, I am not going to stop in Mobile. If I make it halfway (Marianna) I can get gas and we can eat all in one stop.
This would be about 8:30ish. Why is that important? Well, Firehouse closes at 9 pm and we don't want McDonalds, Arbys, Subway or Burger King. We also don't want a longer sit down meal either.
So, it isn't necessarily the exact place we are stopping, but we are already pushing back a 4 year olds dinner 2 hours, but we need to stop and eat in hopes that after dinner (after the sun goes down) she can sleep the rest of the way.

When I go I leave at 11p.m.-1 a.m. Kids sleep most of the trip and when and I try to get to Lake City for breakfast and gas

I know a lot of people who take that approach. That first day is brutal, though.

Yeah, the wife has to work on Friday and we want to hit a park on Saturday, BUT be good to go for the LSU game that night.
If we wait too long, we won't be able to be worth a crap to deal with the heat outside at Blizzard Beach.

I always say I'm just going to go to the room and sleep when we arrive.. But then it hits me...shite I'm in Disney and I find myself wandering around Downtown

On Friday's I wake up for 4:15 to hit a masters swim class at 5:15 am, then after that I will work 8 hours. I have a feeling, even after a few cups of coffee and a couple red bulls it's going to be lights out when I hit the bed.

My wife had issues with some dining reservations this morning. She called Disney and they told her they were having technical issues today.

DO make your dining reservations 180 days in advance.
DO use Magic Express if you fly in and are staying on property.
