I've been offered a really good job after graduation in a city I really hated when I was there...Is it one of those cases where I should make chicken salad out of chicken shite? Or should I take the lesser offer from another company in the city I really want to be in...

ETA: Job 1: Shreveport: $84K w/ benefits
Job 2: Houston: $75-78K w/ benefits

Darlin' you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I'll be here 'til the end of time
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

It's always tease tease tease
You're happy when I'm on my knees
One day is fine and next is black
So if you want me off your back
Well come on an' let me know
Should I Stay or should I go?

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
An' if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know

This indecision's buggin' me (Indecisión me molesta)
If you don't want me, set me free (Si no me quieres, librame)
Exactly whom I'm supposed to be (Dime! ¿Qué tengo ser?)
Don't you know which clothes even fit me? (¿Sabes que ropa me quedar?)
Come on and let me know (Pero tienes que decir)
Should I cool it or should I blow? (¿Me debo ir o quedarme?)

Split

(Doble! ¿Me frío o lo soplo?)
(Esperda)
(Rrattarrattarrattaa...)

Should I stay or should I go now? (Yo! ¿Me frío o lo soplo?)
Should I stay or should I go now? (Yo! ¿Me frío o lo soplo?)
If I go there will be trouble (Si me voy, va a haber peligro)
And if I stay it will be double (Si me quedo, es doble)
So you gotta let me know (Pero que tienes que decir)
Should I cool it or should I blow? (¿Me frío o lo soplo?)
Should I stay or should I go now? (¿Me frío o lo soplo?)
If I go there will be trouble (Si me voy, va a haber peligro)
And if I stay there will be double (Si me quedo, es doble)
So you gotta let me know (Pero que tienes que decir)
Should I stay or should I

Happy trumps money. You will figure that out as you get older. Good luck.

What cities? Is there a difference in cost of living and would the salary difference make up for that?

Go. Start your career off with the highest earning possible. Just live below your means so you don't become reliant on the higher salary and can get out if you need to.

No stupid. We're not ready. You need to name the city. It's a pretty important detail.

Best advice I can offer, choose the boss, not the job.

If you love the boss, you will love the job.

If you hate the boss, you will hate the job.

Think that through and that will answer your question.

What's the difference in cost of living in the two cities? Do you have friends and/or family in one or both of the cities?

I would choose Shreveport everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

Idk when you were in S'port, but it's changed a lot and is getting with the times.

So you're paying $8K not to live in Shreveport?

Most would pay double or tripe that.

You just won't get to be a Cowboys fan. (shrugs)
