Found this guy and brought him in. What is it? He's clearly about to shed his skin.

A guy I know in Laplace, La used to breed them. Beautiful looking snake. He had the largest collection of them I've ever seen.

Eastern Indigo. Never seen one this far north. When I was at Forestry camp in Andalusia Alabama I caught one that looked just like that. Instructor made me carry it back to exactly where I caught it.

Any non-venomous snake that eats other venomous snakes and has a reputation for straight up beating its prey to death is ok by me.
