Poor news, Smack. I saw your recent posts and I had hoped for a different outcome.

My condolences to you and yours on the loss of a good man.

Probably my biggest fear for my family and myself. So far no one in my family has had it that was under 75 years old.

Prayers sent for family and friends.

Also prayers sent for those working to find a cure for all cancers.

Cancer just plain sucks. I've lost too many relatives and friends to that crap.

So true.

No matter how prepared we are, permanent loss is never easy. My prayers are with you and his family.

Did he make it home?

Sorry for the loss. Always tough but even tougher when they are such a good person and so young.

Sad to hear Smack. I've had several severe sunburns and was terrified waiting to get results back from the pathologist on a few moles that the dermatologist wanted to remove. Skin cancer is a scary scary disease. Prayers sent.

Wow, 30 hits close to home here.

Sorry for the OP's loss but this is a good reminder for everyone to go to the doctor at least once a year. If your body feels "off" for any reason get checked out. That's how they were able to catch my dad's lymphoma early and send him into remission for over a year now.
