It sucks bc tyreke is such a different player in his natural position. Gordon would seriously be the perfect sixth man off the bench for our team right now. If he wouldn't get all pissed off about it I would do it in a second. I am curious to see how he does this year with his somewhat renewed body.

If they are going to run Tyreke at SF rather than "Point Forward", then they are going to need to keep him moving and cutting to the basket regularly. If he's parked behind the 3 point line teams will dare him to shoot, if he's flashing to the basket regularly then his man will be forced to stay with him. Honestly Aminu could have been turned into a threat in a similar manner, but Monty was determined to "create space" by parking non shooters behind the 3 point line. It was comical how often he did this with Stiemsma of all people.

I'm worried about tyreke off-ball movement. It seems like he almost has to start off the dribble to create or get to the basket. I forget who said it but someone said tyreke and Irving have the best handle in the NBA.
Tyreke and rivers said they were working on their shot and that could be deadly for tyreke if he can develop that portion of his game.

I think that Tyreke and Holiday will probably split ball handling duties when both are on the court. This may be wishful thinking

I think that happens when Gordon comes out obviously but Jrue can play the two sometimes while reke runs the point forward. But traditional positions are gone so I think your accurate in saying that will happen quite often.

Just saw your thread on Saints Talk. You seem to be infatuated with bad players who have major off court problems.

Did y'all ever write a conclusion Glory Days article that summarized everything that was discovered rewatching those games?

I'm not sure, I know I didn't. Maybe McNamara are some else wrote one.

Looking at the BSS website it doesn't appear that there is a conclusion piece. LINK That'd be a good article for around training camp to illustrate what we might expect to see, like what the offense might look like with Holiday/Gordon/Evans on the floor at the same time.
