I replied to the last post at the time. I was mostly referring to the idiot talking about old Metairie heading downhill while land and home values are at record highs.
But since you mentioned it, what parts have trouble with flooding? I picked up my lot out here as a result of the flooding from Katrina but haven't noticed any issues since then. At least nothing major that I'm aware of?

I know the area between Metairie road and the railroad track floods. The water kind of pools up there. My wife's aunt had a house on Hollywood and it flooded a few times.

I don't mean to blame the victim here, but what business do a 39 year old woman with her 14 year old daughter have doing offering help to a bunch of thug looking dudes on the side of the road at 9 at night? I take that back, I am putting the blame on the victim. It is her fault that happened. If she wouldn't have been so stupid, she could've made it home perfectly safe

Not likely.
I did hear a rumor on Sunday based on what one of the neihbors told someone, that they thought this was a domestic issue of some kind as it appears the victims may have known the thugs.
Just alot of hearsay and BS. I kind of assumed the story was made up that way only because the victims may have been black.

Could she be naive enough to put her child in that type of danger? I can't think of a single girl/woman I know who would even remotely consider that. Most would think,"Oh shite, black guys. GTFO"
