Any tips on this? I always get it on my thumb.

Can we take some time to congratulate Jarret Lee?
I've never seen or heard him speak anything negative about LSU

No he should not be congratulated for not talking shite about LSU

yeah. Being caught with drugs, getting in fights, blaming the other players for his mistakes, etc...
yeah, his character was stellar before the "assassinations"
what ajoke.

I've always had a great deal of respect for Lee.
After being thrown into the fire in 2008, with an OC that continually called plays that he was simply incapable of executing leading to the 16 INTS and 6 pick sixes, he endured some of the most horrible criticism I have ever seen from a fanbase that is all too willing to turn on their own.
But rather than transfer, which most thought he would, and no one would have blamed him, he stayed, and contributed to the best season in LSU history.
Even when he lost his starting job after running into Alabama (justifiably since we were heading toward a Rematch), the team that always seemed to haunt him, and almost cost the team the GOTC, he never allowed himself to become the martyr that so many wanted to make him (most of whom were the same classless trash that tortured him in 2008) by refusing to play the victim and trashing the coach that shielded him from facing that team again on a night that they were feasting on our OL like sharks in a frenzy.
And as for Jefferson, the fact that he didn't try to get his exceptionally talented younger brother to go to another school after the horrible character assassinations he has endured speaks volumes to his love of the school and team that he played so hard for in his four year career.
Cheers to both of those young men and the 41wins and SEC Championship they gave us in their four years together as Tigers.
Damn. I agree with all that shite. Should be the last word on the JL JJ era.

I ran into some people earlier this summer that are friends with Jarret and his family. They came to our tailgate for a couple of hours.
They are Ole Piss fans, but were good people. After talking to them for a while they commented on how terrible the LSU fan base treated Jarret. I had no argument, could only agree with them.
The fact that he put up with the crap he did here, it's a miracle he's still a Tiger fan.
If it would have been me in his shoes, I would have taken a shite on the middle of the field and told you all to go eff yourselves.
It has taken me a while to accept what other people say about LSU, but a lot of them are right. LSU has a shitty fan base at times. We are quick to throw our own under the bus. People shite all over JL and JJ, people shite all over TM7 when he screwed up, people turned their backs on Hill when he had his troubles. Now some of those same people would pay to fondle Jeremy Hill's balls after the numbers he put up last season.
I'm not aware of any other fan base that turns on their team in the same manner that so called LSU fans do.

No thanks. I won't talk about his on the field performance, but he was a horrible leader and a shitty teammate. Constantly blaming everyone else for his mistakes.
Classic Rant myth.
Other than some comments like "I think I played well" in games when Ranters disagreed, JJ never "blamed" anyone or threw teammates under the bus.
Link to quotes of that or STFU.

His character was being assassinated long before any legal issues. In 2009 and 2010 he was bashed for making "faces" that Rantards didn't like, and making comments like saying "I think I played great".
That is when the assassinations started, mainly by idiots clambering for Lee, likely the same mouth breathers that tortured Lee in 2008.
Then, he got in a fight in a bar, involving many other players, with a guy that is no stranger to physical confrontations, not always with men. He was instantly labeled a "thug".
He then served a four game suspension, losing his starting position his senior year.
He came back onto the field, to some boos of course, and scored a touchdown on his first play back.
He continued to back up and come off the bench, until Lee was unable to keep up the progress he had shown against Bama, and helped steady the offense to one of the biggest wins in our program's history, and earned his starting job back, with a Rematch on the horizon.
After leading LSU to the best offensive display of the season against the #3 Arkansas Razorbacks to finish the regular season undefeated for the first time in 53 years, he then avoided turnovers against another great defense in the SECCG while our D, STs, and running game pounded them in a 5 touchdown blowout.
He then had the misfortune to play the entire game against one of the best defenses of all time, becoming the easy target for Miles bashers and taking the blame with Miles for that, while sparing Lee having to face that D again, who gratefully sat on the sidelines while being anointed martyr by those same idiots that bashed him and JJ the past 4 years.
JJ's place in infamy was sealed. Being present when Mathieu was arrested for possessing marijuana which led to his dismissal from the team, only added to the legend. Nevermind that Mathieu has taken full responsibility for his own actions and openly admits that he was basically addicted to marijuana at the time.
So, barfight, marijuana possession (not in his home), and stating that he played well.......
Am I missing anything from the notorious JJ's rap sheet that justify his hatred by so many of our "fans"???

He was stuck in situation that he was not ready for due to things beyond his power to control, yet he had great career overall at LSU and we should be proud to call him a Tiger as he should be to have worn the purple and gold.

JL never gets enough credit for his play prior to UA. Without him, we're not SEC Champions.
I know, you would think with everything he did before he got yanked there would have been a large portion of fans who wanted him to start the rest of the games, causing a pretty big QB controversy
Oh wait, that's exactly what happened...
