As if the league isn't watered down already.

Who would buy a team in a major media market (which is its main value) and move it?

D) Milwaukee Bucks

This is who should move, but not sure it will happen with new ownership and star player.

doubtful their new owner was forced to try and get a new arena in Milwaukee, so they aren't going for atleast 3-5 years.

E) LA Clippers

Maybe their lease at the Staples Center is crappy but iron tight until 2023 (IIRC).

F) Sacramento Kings

Just signed a new 30 year lease and are in the process of building a new arena.

Expansion is probably the only way Seattle gets a team .

Las Vegas would be a slam dunk for the NBA. For obvious reasons major sports leagues are scared to move a franchise to Vegas.

Still, I am more sympathetic to Kansas City having a franchise than Seattle.

It sounds like the NHL's really looking hard at Seattle. Seems almost inevitable, just depends how long. Don't know how that would affect the possibility of an NBA team moving there.

Dude you think the NBA will expand to 36 teams? No way the league goes past 30 IMO, I don't think Seattle gets a team unless it moves from somewhere, and I really don't see it happening soon if ever

There are already too many teams in the NBA.

If they really want to improve their product, contract a few teams.

The product is great right now...

Contracting has already been branded a no go.

instead of contracting, decrease the roster sizes by 1 and it will have the same effect

It's how I would do it if there's going to be expansion. I don't see anybody moving so if Seattle gets a team, it's through expansion. Then I just wanted to figure out how to keep all the divisions even

They'd likely do it two at a time. I know when the Grizzlies were added in Vancouver they also added Toronto.

Yes they could. Austin is the fastest growing city in the country, and has no professional sports teams. Seattle should get one first, but Austin isn't a bad spot for a team

More people in its metro area than NOLA

Houston San Antonio and Dallas would all block an Austin team for TV reasons alone
