1st practice for the Bears: rookie CB Kyle Fuller already has 2 picks! Imma go ahead and say it: he's the next Revis.

Not really important because he's an end of the roster type guy but Greg Orton torn something in his knee at Pats camp.

Hopefully the injury bug will bite someone else this season because it's still full from the Pats last year

Gronk has missed 14 games over the past two seasons, but Gronk wouldn't be Gronk if he didn't go all out. "I'm gonna keep smashing and dashing in everything I do," he assured, followed by a smiling giggle. "Haha." Amid numerous injuries, Gronkowski has scored 33 touchdowns over his last 34 games. 33 TDs in 34 games :woah:

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Vick Ballard suffered a torn Achilles during Friday's training camp practice. It's terrible news for Ballard, who is now looking at another lost season after missing the majority of 2013 to ACL surgery. Ballard was carted off the field Friday, and is currently undergoing an MRI. A below-average athlete prior to his injuries, it's questionable whether Ballard will ever be able to make it back. The Colts will move forward with Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw and as their top two running backs. Dan Herron is the favorite for the No. 3 role.

Ouch. That's a tough break for the kid

Yea it is. And he looked pretty promising his rookie season. Hate to see a young player miss back to back seasons due to injury.

And this puts even more pressure on TRich and Bradshaw. Colts better hope TRich figured out the zone scheme / learned the playbook and that Bradshaw can stay healthy.

While they got what they wanted in that trade, which was anther 1st rd pick, still too soon to say they made out like bandits. Especially if Manziel flops.

TRich has played in a traditional power I, man blocking scheme his entire life. The play was called to go in the B gap, that's where he goes. Going from that to a zone scheme takes time. It's a completely diff style of running and requires patience and vision. TRich is used to playing in a system where you get the ball and go to this spot at full speed.

And it takes time to change your running style and learn a new playbook. No way he would get it all perfect being traded in the middle of the season. This upcoming season will determine what kinda trade that really was.

Especially when you consider how much the Colts passing game has improved from last season to now. Luck and TY going into their 3 seasons and still improving. They get Dwayne Allen back. Reggie will be back. Rodgers looked promising late in the year. Draft Moncrief. And sign Nicks. He's had his ups and downs, but still a talented player.

Reggie Wayne, Nicks, TY, Fleener, Allen, Rodgers, and Moncrief... That's a talented group of WRs for Luck. And their run game should benefit a lot from that. And the Colts got better this offseason, a lot better.

Packers signed WR Jordy Nelson to a four-year, $39 million contract extension. The deal includes $14.2 million guaranteed and an $11.5 million signing bonus. One of the most underrated wide receivers in the league, Nelson is finally getting paid after accepting a discounted rate from the Packers in 2011. Green Bay will now turn its focus to Randall Cobb, who is also in the final year of his deal.
