If sweeping the leg is illegal in the All-Valley Tournament, then why in Karate Kid III does Daniel ask Mr. Miyagi to teach him how to sweep after Terry Silver suggests it? Daniel even pleads with Mr. Miyagi that that is the one thing he needs to recapture his championship.

Didn't Daniel try and pick up Ali before they ran him off the cliff? I forgot. Also Daniel made that fall look worse than it really was.

The beach scene occurred before the bike scene, if that's what you are asking. Johnny already whooped his arse once. This was classic bullying.

Daniel's broken bike and head= enough evidence that the bike spill was no picnic

bullshite

So, Daniel played a little prank, and Johnny got a little wet..... BFD

Johnny got off easy. He was drugging on school grounds. He should have been expelled, and sent to prison.

In their first encounter on the beach, John was trying to deal with his bitch on again/off again girlfriend, and Daniel tried to stick his faggy nose into the middle of that and get involved. So he got his arse kicked.

And after that, he was in no position to be "playing a little prank" on John. They weren't friends, yet he got involved again and got his arse kicked because of it, deservedly so.

Daniel was a punk bitch, and kept meddling with John's affairs. So of course he had to be dealt with.

Now, the wrecking of the bike thing was a bit overboard, I'll give you that...but maybe we can chalk that up to "childish pranks" as well since you seem to be on that boat. But to be fair, they just forced him off the path by a few feet...he could've easily gotten control and gotten back onto the road. But he decided to go downhill. It was basically a suicide attempt.

And John wouldn't have gone to prison for a small joint.

I think the apology from the kid who injured him and Johnny's shock were due to the fact that they were basically clean cut kids who were dicks, but they still had enough class to realize how dirty that was.
Exactly. It's a classic case of humanizing the bully.

In 2014 Johnny's a state senator with dreams of representing California in the US House of Representatives and Daniel is still selling Bonsais, living off his Karate championships.

So he chose to ride the bike down the hill? I agree that Daniel egged them on and deserved something, but that might have killed him. This is the moment when the cool kids deserve to be whooped. They went too far.

Daniel had a damn Huffy bike, Cobra Kais were rolling deep with dirt bikes. Daniel should of known from the day he moved to not mess with Johnny lady. Either join them or feel the wrath.

Not exactly. But if you watch the scene, they sort of force him off the path, and instead of just stopping or turning back onto the road, he heads downhill.

But I did say they went too far with that...I mean shite, they wanted to show him "how to take a fall."

Johnny went on to UCLA and pledged Sigma Chi, after two years he got the acting bug and dropped out of school. In 1991, he finally got his big break in Thelma & Louise. He has received a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and three Academy Award nominations.

Daniel is on parole for stalking and credit fraud, and currently lives with his mother.

Exactly, judging by that clip he could of easily just stopped and laid the bike down right at the beginning and learned to take his fall, instead he rolls down the hill and leaps forward and then takes a tumble even further.

What he gets for trying to take short cuts in life.

Well, he does kind of get what he deserves in the second one, when we find out that Ally crashed his car and broke up with him.

And did you know that this guy

Is also this guy, from Better Off Dead?

Took me twenty years to realize that.

I always figured that Johnny went to Wall Street and made serious cash and retired early.

Since this is 2014, he's probably living off his millions and traveling from party to party with Dan Bilzerian. He probably even backed a chain of Cobra Kai dojos with John Kreese because "life's too short to carry bitterness" or some other BS philosophy that the super rich can afford to live by. Not a single person in Reseda has a clue who "Mr. Miyagi" ever was.

Daniel now manages the flagship Cobra Kai dojo and teaches Johnny's kids.

I always thought it was strange how the Cobra Kai sensei made the guy hurt Daniel's leg in an effort to put him out of the tournament. Did he not have any confidence that Johnny could beat Daniel? He wanted Johnny to win due to the fact that there was no one left to fight him? Also, if the guy did not hurt Daniel's leg and he actually beat Daniel, the final match would have been two Cobra Kai's fighting? That seems weird.

Did you guys see that Lamar from Revenge of the Nerds was a Cobra Kai? I imagine you did. Also, what about that fat Cobra Kai? He looked like he was just jumping around in his match until the asian fighter took him out.

In the semifinal he had one of his guys purposely DQ to hurt him so he wouldn't go to the final. Johnny seen that for the dick move it was.

Also being a douche to Daniel in private is one thing but sweeping the leg in a public place made him look bad.

So, is the consensus that of the 4 Karate "kids" (Daniel, Johnny from part I, Chozen from part II and Barnes from III) that Daniel ends up actually being the least successful?

Personally, I think Daniel might edge out Barnes in the game of life but Johnny and Chozen definitely ended up getting rich.
