Shows how crappy the character is that pretty much from day one the main debate has been nothing more than her physique and her outfit. Damn misogynists!

People will debate casting and costumes until the end of time.

I tell you what, that chic from The Expendables 3, she would've been a great cast choice.

While I don't disagree, are we saying that you don't have to have any acting ability to be Wonder Woman as long as you physically resemble her?

An inability to act would potentially capture her well actually. She needs to be awkward socially to be accurate. Acting in battle is not an art someone like Gina Carano would have to learn. That would come naturally.

For everyone's information, the problems with the Superman Lives script were not Kevin Smith's nor Tim Burton's doing. They were producer Jon Peters doing. He would only finance the movie on certain condition. He wanted a battle with a giant spider, fight polar bears, superman could not be shown flying, the suit had to be changed from red and blue to black ASAP because he felt the classic look was "too faggy" and that Brainiac needed to look roughly like the Mars attack aliens and have a cute space dog that resembled Chewbecca.

fricking Hollywood people with money. Btw, the giant spider idea was recycled into another movie he produced: Wild Wild West.

She is from an island of women that has no connection to the outside world. Never spoken to a man, has ancient ideas on social code etc... Much less understand simple every day things we are used to and love, like say ice cream. BvS has to be before the WW in the timeline. So she will not have had time to adjust the world.

+2 points if you get the reference in there.

New 52? There's your first mistake. Go with the confident Wonder Woman that we had for 60 years, not the reboot that's going to get rebooted out of existence for the next publishing stunt.
