Definitely if it doesn't have

Always smart. And put it on charge every few trips even if it's not used

I would get self inflating life jackets xs 4.

If you don't plan on wearing them, just get the big orange ones that come like 4 in a bag and shove them in a storage box somewhere

Get LED strips on the inside that change color by remote.

What's the purpose of changing color?
Just get white/blue/green depending on your preference and be done with it. You can get like 20ft of the led strip lights in single color on amazon for $15 or so. Just a little souldering and wire and you're done. We did this to our surface drive, white LEDs, it's so awesome at night in the swamp

Make sure you keep a spare prop in the boat too. Doesn't have to be a stainless, just something to get you home if that cotter pin shears.

Definitely. Keep our extra hub packed and ready to go in a small plano dry box.

I can't take credit for it, it's my dad's boat.

It's "rated" for a 150 but you can put a 200 on it if you have seastar steering (we have the seastar either way). I was pushing for the 200 but we went with the 150 and honesty, it's great. It jumps out of the hole and tops out at 51.

Just think how beautiful(and more reliable) it would be with a Mercury though.

That bit might be funny if there were any truth to it.

on board washdown if you don't already have it. Makes on shore clean up much easier if you can give it a quick spray while fishing before blood/mud/fish shite dries.

i always heard that these don't fully charge the batteries like the separate plug-in/clamp-on units do. any truth to this?

It's definitely nice, but if you want to skimp a 5 gallon bucket and scrub brush will do just fine

I guess it depends on what type, but never had a problem with two different ones that Ive had. I dont see why they wouldnt charge fully

only had a chance to fish the marsh a couple of time but I can tell you that one time we have something good to stand on (18in or so step) and they made a huge difference.

It could be a good cooler or a manufactured step but I would definately have those for the marsh.
