I highly recommend reading Phil Jackson's book, "Eleven Championship Rings." He is very interesting.

Kobe
Wouldn't beat MJ one on one, but I like the competitive spirit.
Lebron and KD are two premier players that never have shown the true drive that MJ and Kobe are notorious for.

I didn't say they aren't motivated. They are tops of their professions.
But on MJ and Kobe level, they are not.

They will both most likely finish ahead of Kobe on the all time great list so I doubt they are too worried about it

KD is young, and rings aren't everything, but he better get to winning some big games and titles if he wants to be considered better than Kobe.
