I already answered the question. The pizza driver is to blame. He delivered to the address requested. Person was not there. He should have delivered to the customers that followed directions before delivering that other pizza for a second time.

Now answer my question. If government regulations hinder economic growth why would you support over-regulation of the transportation industry?

This is a paradigm shift. Like Radio is losing to satellite. And it is probably not perfect, but Uber is so much better than Traditional Taxi service. Hopefully the next frontier for disruption is DMV, Cable, Internet, Cable, gas stations, grocery stores, and any other pain in the arse government and regulated non competitive businesses.

Sorry Taxi's... Should've been better

When you call them to order delivery they go off estimate wait time given by cpu. That time is determined on how long it should take to make the pizza, how far from the store you are, and how long it should take a driver. It sees driver out on a run if they are. Well lets just say that the asshat that ordered the pizza before you gave wrong address or apt #. Now that driver will have to take extra time to call you and get correct address. Time est on pizza cpu now wrong from what you was told. Now driver gets correct address and its on the other side of delivery zone. Time est getting more and more off. Driver gets there and cust left because buddy showed up and he left with him. Driver then calls back to see what's up. Time est getting off more and more. Cust who ordered pizza looks at phone knows its not the driver and decides not to answer at all. Est off more and more. Now driver has to go back to shop and get your pizza and deliver it to you. By this time you are pissed and blaming the pizza place saying you took to long and you want free pizza. Was that really the pizza places fault for going to the original address. The wrong address at that. No it wasn't. Is it the drivers fault for trying. No but you get mad at him too. Now if that guy wouldn't caused them so many problems do you think you would have gotten your pizza faster?

So Yellow Cab didn't show up at L'Berge for two hours and forty-five minutes after I called because they didn't know where it was?

Either Yellow Cab is shitty company because they cause customers to wait a preposterous amount of time OR Yellow Cab is a shitty company because its drivers don't know where the biggest Casino in the city is located.

I really hope Uber puts you out of business.

Can I stick and move here and just ask an uber question? I'm off Highland Road and I'm out of service area. I'm assuming this is because it's new and will change?

Is the random black guy in the Cadillac the new uber driver?

I don't think there is a "service area" there just has to be a driver on call in a certain proximity of you

Doubt this happens. Yellowcab will do the majority of it's business in N Baton Rouge now.

Uber drivers aren't going anywhere near there.

I assume they can operate anywhere in Baton Rouge except the shite tatistic airport. Then the 5 dollar rides are within city limits until the 25th

I've been checking periodically throughout the day to see how many cars are out. It has been 3 or more every time I have looked today. This is an improvement over this weekend when looking and it was hit or miss. Yellow cab is about to be buried in the parts of br that matter.

I just used uber. Worked great. The car got there before we could even hail a cab.

Bacon,

Open the Uber app then scroll over and drop a pin in BTR. It will show available cars.

Used Uber and Lyft a few times since I've moved to Nashville. It's great about about half the price of a traditional cab ride. My only issue is you never know what kind of car you are getting until a driver selects you so if you have a large group where a van would be more helpful.

Troll or not, two questions Richard Jones do you mind if I send this thread to Yellow Cab and have you worked at all the past 36 hours? You have been awfully active when people are needing rides.
