So nothing to do with safety. If you looked at the link of how secure uber is I posted, You would see why they do that. UBER said it was safe for a driver with theft and breaking and entering to come pick you up. Wow that sure was one tuff background check.

A Taxi Company would prevent all of that right?

So far only problem I have is my promo code. It's got my name in it so I don't want to share it with people on the Internet. Oh and they don't have any drivers so I can't use my credits.

There are more possible rides in BR today than there were before Uber. It's that simple. There was a limited supply of Yellow Cabs. Now you have yellow cabs AND Uber cars. I don't understand why people don't understand the simple math of the situation. This will help those in BR who want to get driven somewhere get picked up.

You can't read can you?

If you could read their website, which you keep referencing, you would know that drivers don't have to refuse tips but they do have to let the rider know that it is not necessary.

But alas, your a tard.

Unless you're a cabbie getting driven out of business like the OP, I don't understand why you would be against it.

Again, you're (your?) wrong.

Tips are built into the fare, again following their cashless model. You do remember that, yes?

But they can damn sure accept them. And you can bet your generic cigarette smoking arse that tailgating drunks thankful that they were delivered home in a clean, air conditioned car will shower their driver with tips.

If you spent as much time on your business as you did trying to tear down your competitor, you might just beat your competitor. Lol

This goes against the whole concept of what they are.
