If by "ethno-nationalism" you mean "self-determinism," then wherever it is practical, yes.
Unfortunately it's not practical in all cases, such as with the Roma spread throughout Europe. However, it is practical in Israel and they should have self-determinism as a Jewish state. Same with the Kurds, same with the Greenlanders, although I suspect they want to delay it until they can be financially independent of the Danes.

I am really not understanding why you think I hate jews.

Your "ethno-nationalism for everybody" is a poorly veiled attempt to bash Israel (being a Jewish state and all), but I threw the monkey-wrench in your intent when I pointed out that there are assloads of non-Jewish Arabs that not just live, but THRIVE in Israel. Thus it's not the hardcore "ethno-nation" you were going to parlay this thread into had not reality intruded.

Then your problem should be with BOTH the Arabs and the Israelis. Both sides have extremely bloody hands in this conflict. When control of the mandate was handed over after World War II, the Arabs swept across Palestine to murder the Jews and drive them into the sea. The Israli War of Independence was waged and the Jews survived. When all of the neighboring nations conspired to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, Israel defeated them all in only 6 days despite being outnumbered and outgunned. Prior to the 6 Day War, mortars and artillery fired from Syria would fall on the capital in Tel Aviv and upon the country's main airport. With victory in the wars, Israel took defensible frontiers like the Golan Heights, the West Bank, and the Sinai, much of which they gave back only to be attacked from them again. At this point, Israel has finally had the last straw and is doing something about all of the rocket attacks and invading Gaza.
Has Israel been unnecessarily heavy handed? Absolutely.
Are the Palestinians blameless? Absolutely not. They brought it on themselves with endless aggression, kidnappings, and breaking every ceasefire and brokered peace they've ever been handed. There would be a Palestine if Palestine truly wanted it, but there would be no Israel if they got what they really wanted.

My problem is with anyone who violates another persons property rights.
The reason I'm so critical of the Israeli government is because I don't know of anyone who claims Hamas bombing innocents is justified or anyone who claims Hamas should just obliterate every Israeli, but I know a lot of people who will go way out of their way to justify the actions taken by the Israeli government even if those actions are counter to their belief set.

I know. Anti-zionists love to drone on about genocide and ethnic cleansing, and about how no occupiers have ever been defeated through non-violence. They're so ignorant and wrong that it'd be laughable if there weren't so many of them.
1. The Jews face the same issue Europe does. The Jews will be outnumbered in their own country within a few generations because the Muslims are having more children than they are. So if they're trying to commit genocide, they're doing a terrible job. If anyone should no how to genocide, it would be the Israeli Jews.
2. There are literally dozens of examples from the 20th century alone of regimes toppling to non-violence and civil disobedience. If Palestine had chosen this route, they would have their own state.

They were lucky Israel didn't take the whole of Syria, Egypt and Jordan because their military was more than capable after annihilating the combined military strength of their Arab neighbors.
