Did you use a high temp paint? Barrel heat might come into play.

If you used rattle can, the barrel will start to get a pinkish color to it after repeated heat cycles. Fix is to just repaint.

You can tell it's a DIY paint-job. But it's a very well done DIY paint-job.

Looks good. You've prolly already done it, but if not I'd add a couple coats of the clear.

Do not clear.
